SK ’12-’13 Photo-diary Part 3:
A continuation of my photo-diary from South Korea~ These photos are from January 2013, in chronological order.
“Cocoon” and “hurricane” are 2 words that come to mind when I reflect back on this month.. I went out a whole lot more and spent much anticipated quality time with old and new friends also, so it wasn’t all silence and serious business.
I miss all of you, SK – your dynamic skies, your snow (but NOT the ice/slush it turns into that refuses to melt away and lives to see us all slip and break something), your breathtaking natural landscapes, your skyline, your night lights, your incessant traffic, your crazy taxi drivers, your highly efficient subway system, your familiar mash of shops, your street-food vendors (an ‘odeng’/fish cake skewer with a cup of steaming odeng soup on a freezing dawn after clubbing will be the best 70 cents you’ve ever spent and ever will spend in your life), your ‘mokyeoktangs’/public baths, your different provinces and cities…
I could go on an on and on and on and on. Same goes for all the things I hate about you, too.
I wonder why it’s with you I’m always tossed and turned and stretched and rested and uplifted and tested and changed forever.
